Summer of Tomorrows Cast & Crew: Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson Writer/Producer/Director - Mr. Johnson's experience in the film industry has covered a broad spectrum. Currently, he is in post-production on "Summer of Tomorrows," a digital feature to be completed by the summer of 2003. In addition to his efforts on his most recent feature production, Johnson works as an assistant director on commercials in New York City from time to time.

Previous to "Summer of Tomorrows," his independently produced and directed feature length motion picture "Shades of Darkness" has been released into international distribution on both videocassette and DVD. It is currently airing on several television stations overseas and has been translated into a multitude of foreign languages. The film was shot entirely in Johnson's resident town of many years, Binghamton, New York.

There he founded The Misty Falls Motion Picture Company in 1993 for the sole purpose of producing this and other feature films for a minimal overhead and reasonable production costs Previous to the development and production of "Shades of Darkness," Johnson produced, directed and acted in his first independent production, "Outside of Winters Bend," which is currently in limited international release.

Prior to his independent production work through The Misty Falls Motion Picture Company, Johnson designed and created the special make-up effects for the big budget features "Last of the Mohicans" and "Drop Dead Fred." In addition to the design and creation of the make-up effects, Johnson also assisted in designing and executing second unit effects photography for both films.
